spinach mushroom chicken rice soup

 

Ingredients spinach mushroom chicken rice soup


1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cubed
1 cup rice medley (instant)
1/2 lb fresh baby spinach
2 individual stalks celery sliced
1 packages baby portabella sliced mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic (or plain cream if mushroom is fine)
1 large pot 3/4 filled with water
1 cup chopped fresh green onion | chives
2 packets chicken flavor enhancer
1 salt pepper garlic powder to taste.

how to make spinach mushroom chicken rice soup


in your large pot of water add cubed chicken, seasonings, celery, green onion, flavor enhancer and cream of mushroom soup, boil for 2 hours on medium high heat.

Add mushrooms and boil for an additional 30 minutes.

Add spinach and rice and boil until both are tender.

serve!

(hint.. Add water as needed during boiling process)
